Description de l’appel et échéances
La Commission européenne a ouvert le 22 septembre 2020 un appel à projets de recherche et d’innovation d’un milliard d’euros pour répondre à la crise climatique et contribuer à protéger les écosystèmes et la biodiversité de l’Europe. Cet appel européen “Green Deal”, financé par Horizon 2020, vise à accélérer une transition vers une Europe climatiquement neutre d’ici 2050 et à favoriser la relance européenne après la crise du coronavirus, en transformant les défis écologiques en opportunités d’innovation.
L’appel vise des résultats à court et moyen terme, mais dans une perspective de changement à long terme. Les actions sont plus ciblées que les appels H2020 précédents et mettent l’accent sur la rapidité d’évolution, de diffusion et d’adoption.
L’appel est ouvert jusqu’au 21 janvier 2021 (17h00).

Périmètre thématique et place des sols
L’appel est divisé en 10 domaines : huit domaines principaux – reflétant la structure du “Green Deal” européen – et deux domaines de soutien, respectivement sur les systèmes de connaissance et les infrastructures de recherche et sur l’engagement des citoyens.
Les domaines de l’appel sont détaillés ci-dessous.
